Our Mission - Keeping the Legacy
Our Mission
The Peter Vandy Foundation (to be called the Lord Pee Foundation) is formed to continue the legacy of Peter Vandy, who departed this world June 27, 2018. Foundation will focus on the Empowerment of Youths, as Peter believed that an empowered youth is a worthy investment to the family, community and nation.
The vision will be achieved through programming in Education, Recreation & Sports, Mentorship, ICT Training, with the ultimate goal of acquisition of a Youth Center. Peter touched many lives, and was deeply committed to service in church and in community. The work that he started now needs to be continued with your support.
ICT Training
The Foundation aims to provide training to the youths in basic computer skills and applications including, Microsoft Office and Web Based Social Net Working Tools such as email, face book, twitter, Skype, etc.
Education: School Supplies
Project seeks to provide School ready supplies (backpacks) to primary school pupils in Bo, Southern Sierra Leone with appropriate educational materials that includes exercise books, notebooks, pen, pencil, stationary, etc.
Recreation and Sports
An annual program for recreation and sports will be organized beginning June 27th, 2019. Peter believed in sports and recreation as a tool to build communities and help harness the talents of youths
Leadership Training
Our mentoring program will seek to provide leadership training to the youths by way of coaching from great minds and mentors with experience in different fields.
An empowered youth is a worthy investment to the family, community and nation.

Rho Desktop Support
The Foundation has been reaching (and continues to reach) out to businesses and organizations for support of donated computers for use to empower the youths in ICT training in basic computer, software and Internet skills, and to help bridge the digital divide, which will invariable improve the quality of their lives. One such organization contacted for support is Rho Inc, Durham, NC, USA. On Tuesday June 30th, 2020, Rho Inc delivered on their promise to support the foundation with 20 Dell Desktops (Used) computers as part of their corporate social responsibility. The foundation is deeply appreciative for Rho’s support in setting the pace for greater things to happen for the youths in Sierra Leone. Read More
Peter Vandy Foundation – Official Launching – 27-30th June 2019
The Peter Vandy Foundation in its launching program and commemoration of the first anniversary of Peter Vandy organized a soccer tournament between Kindia Rangers and Catholic Youths combined team of St Teresa, Bo on Thursday June 27th, 2019 beginning at 4:00 PM. Kickoff was taken by executive director of foundation, Edie P Vandy. The game was well attended from members of the public, family members and from the church with commentary provided over the PA system. Read More
